About Us
We are family owned business with six generations of breeding, and have been breeding registered angus cattle for over 60 years. We are currently running 175 fall cows and 150 spring cows while and AIing 100 to 350 commercial heifers. Most of the commercial heifers are out of our own bulls. We also custom feed cattle in our 1500 head feed lot. We are located just outside of Brunswick Nebraska on Highway 20. We hold an annual production sale every year the last Tuesday in February selling 80 register angus bulls.
Goals of our program
To provide our customers with the most progressive genetics possible. This means growth, fertilily, calving-ease, maternal, and carcass traits. All of our females need to be functional, sound, easy-fleshing, good uttered, and gentle. We rely on EPD'S and Zoetis 50K data to select and guide us in selecting our bulls and heifers for our program. We also use artificial insemination (AI) and embryo transfer (ET) to keep us on the forefront of all the new genetics.
We are old fashioned, we do business with handshakes and stand behind our cattle 100%.
